I'm a crotchety 50-something-year-old who has been building websites — mostly for non-profit organizations — since 1998. It feels a lot longer than that, if possible. I dunno, time is an illusion.
Before that I mostly served delicious coffee drinks to make ends meet while I was playing drums for a bunch of bands in Eugene, Seattle, and Cincinnati. Ohio is also an illusion.
I live in Maryland with my partner of nearly 30 years and our two dogs. Our two kids have flown the coop and are building lives out on their own. Both kids are quite real and even drop by occasionally. We delight in their company. That said, they do trend toward the illusory when waiting for them to respond to a text message.
